“全世界最忧伤的魚”

或许你听说过美国有一只“全世界表情最忧伤”的狗，让人一见就不禁同情它，但英国海洋学家近日宣布，澳大利亚有一种“全世界表情最忧伤”的鱼，不仅长着一张“幽怨”的脸，命运也十分悲惨：它们就要灭绝了。
据报道，这种名叫“水滴鱼”(Blobfish)的海底怪鱼有着一副可谓是“全世界最忧伤的表情”。它的身体呈凝胶状，身体最长可以达到3米多。水滴鱼生活在澳大利亚东南部最深达800米的海底，由于人类很难达到牠们的栖息地，所以以往极少被人类所发现。
然而，深海捕捞活动大肆增加后，水滴鱼跟其它鱼类一起被捕捞上来。虽然水滴鱼不宜食用，不过由于生活在跟海鲜如螃蟹、龙虾一样的海洋深度，让它们连带也成为牺牲品。
英国约克大学深海问题专家卡隆罗伯兹(Callum Roberts)教授表示，大众应该更为关注滴水鱼的命运，水滴鱼正遭受灭绝的威胁。
罗伯兹是《反常的海洋史》(The Unnatural History of the Sea)一书的作者。他介绍说，随着深海捕鱼业的迅猛发展，大片深海区域正面临海底拖网的威胁。海底拖网是最具破坏力的捕鱼方式。现在，深达200米的海洋也遭受过度捕捞，而且，捕捞作业已开始离开大陆架，转入深达2000米的深海区域。
罗伯兹说，“水滴鱼极易被渔网捕捞上来，从这一点我们可以知道，这种鱼类仅限于这些水域。澳大利亚和新西兰的深海捕鱼船是世界上最活跃的船队之一，所以，即便是水滴鱼，海底也不再是它们理想的栖息之地。”
罗伯兹称，澳大利亚设立了一定的深海保护区，但只用于保护珊瑚而非水滴鱼。因此，原本在海底自在生活的水滴鱼变成了濒临绝种的生物。

It does not make any sense...Bolbfish is not suitable for eat but is still a sacrifice for human being. Is it possible release them back to the sea if catched...?

It does not make any sense...Bolbfish is not suitable for eat but is still a sacrifice for human being. Is it possible release them back to the sea if catched...?

It is sacrificed becaused it get caught along from the very deep sea. In the news above, it is not stating whether it has died when it get pulled up to the ship, but it could be as it has left its comfort living parameters; or if it is not dead, either those fishermen has not really been considering of letting any of the catch to go back into the sea, or even if they do release it back, it died when it tried to go back down to the deep sea - becomes other predator meal or not being able to adapt to the 'shallowness' parameters(temperature,light,pressure etc).
