Connect the HDMI out from PC to TV HDMI in, set the video driver to output to HDMI;
connect the HDMI from TV to the Amp HDMI in, or the optical audio/coax out from TV to the amp in.
Voila! True surround from PC to amp! .... (you need to have the TV on though)
Or if you only want to listen to downloaded music, hook up the digital audio out from the pc to your amp. If you don't have the digital audio out on your pc, get a decent sound card, they cost around $10 these day.  |
