Academy: West Ham 1-6 Arsenal - Report (Arsenal under 18)
Arsenal Under-18s got their season back on track with a 6-1 thrashing at West Ham on Saturday.
The youngsters responded to last week’s defeat at Ipswich in superb fashion as Rui Fonte and Sanchez Watt gave the visitors a half-time lead.
A second from Watt shortly after the interval was added to by Nacer Barazite and Henri Lansbury before the hour. England schoolboy Emmanuel Frimpong completed the rout one minute from time.
The result is perfect preparation for many of the team who are likely to feature when the Reserves visit the Hammers next Tuesday.
The Academy side play Southampton on November 3 - their third away trip in as many weeks. |
