[新聞] York chief: Man Utd will face competition for Boyes

York City boss Colin Walker admits he expects renewed interest in Adam Boyes, after the striker underwent a trial with Manchester United. The 17-year-old played in a youth tournament for Sir Alex Ferguson's Red Devils during a two-week stint with the dual Premier League and European champions.
Walker hopes Boyes will shine in next season's Blue Square Premier, although Tottenham and Middlesbrough have also been credited with an interest in a player who has yet to start a game for City.
"As soon as it is known United are interested then a lot of other teams are going to start sniffing around," said Walker.
"It was a fantastic experience for Adam, especially as they just won the Champions League.
"The feedback and vibes have all been very positive but, as it stands, Adam is still a York City player and it's been a fantastic experience for the boy.
"He will be part of our first-team squad next season and, hopefully, the experience of going to United will give him the hunger to keep pushing his game forward."
