[新聞] Italian giants vent Fergie fury

Sir Alex Ferguson has been accused of double standards by a furious Roma official after Manchester United took 16-year-old Davide Petrucci from the Italian club’s youth system.
Highly-rated forward Petrucci will join United after being offered a contract that dwarfed the money on offer from the Serie A side in a transfer that has angered Roma deeply.
Ferguson has made no secret of his own annoyance over Real Madrid’s public pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo and even reported the Spanish giants to Fifa over the matter –a situation that has not escaped the notice of the Giallorossi’s technical director Bruno Conti.
“They complain about Ronaldo and then did the same thing with David,” said Conti in Gazzetta dello Sport.
“His father Stefano has disappointed me. I will not be told any more lies. As for the boy, I wish him all the best in the world.”
While United have accused Real Madrid of underhand tactics in a bid to lure Ronaldo to Spain, there is nothing in Fifa’s regulations to prevent English clubs from taking youngsters from foreign academies before they have signed a professional contract.
Cesc Fabregas is the most high-profile example but United have made substantial profits from the sales of Giuseppe Rossi and Gerard Pique – recruited from Barcelona and Parma - in the past 12 months.
