Gunners romp in ten-goal pre-season win

Nicklas Bendtner scored four goals and Carlos Vela got a hat-trick as Arsenal romped to a 10-2 victory over Burgenland in their pre-season friendly in Ritzing.

Jack Wilshere gave the Gunners a first minute lead, before Bendtner and Vela took over as Arsene Wenger's side scored seven goals without reply in the first half.
The Dane netted a 16-minute hat-trick and grabbed his fourth in the 37th minute, while Vela netted after 25, 33 and 52 minutes.
Wilshere scored from the penalty spot just before the midway point in the second half, after being fouled himself, then set up England forward Theo Walcott for a 69th-minute goal which brought up double figures for the Premier League side.
Although Junuz Foric and Alexander Martna netted inside the last 17 minutes for the Austrian team, this was a stroll for Arsenal in this small town near the Hungarian border.
