Ronny Turiaf gets a warm welcome in return to Staples Center 屠夫回“娘家”受热捧 RonnyTuriaf, the energetic face of the Lakers’ reserves in seasons past,walked into a different locker room on Sunday, the one that’s 100 feetdown the hall from his old one at Staples Center.

Heis in his first season with Golden State after signing a four-year,$17-million contract during the off-season, increasing his annualsalary by more than five times what he made with the Lakers last season.

But he still misses his old locker room, and its inhabitants.

"Weliked the energy," Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said. "It's like aradiator out there, just giving off all this great energy and thislight, and getting off the bench and creating stuff -- laughable stuff,humorous stuff. And that was Ronny's energy. We miss that becausethat's infectious."

Hereceived an ovation when he entered Sunday's game with 2:03 left in thefirst quarter. He was scoreless and finished with one rebound and fourblocked shots, though it seemed almost secondary to his reappearance infront of Lakers fans.

"Wehad pretty cool memories," he said. "But the NBA's a business. One dayyou're here and the next day you're gone. We all knew that this daymight be coming. The day happened. I made a decision. They made adecision as well. I have no hard feelings whatsoever."

He wasn't surprised that his former team was off to a solid start.

Everybody started feeling betterabout themselves. The momentum kind of got better, the crowd gotbetter, the whole environment around the city got a lot better."
