Having picked up a fracture to the toe i cannot understand why gerrard is going to be risked.I know he is our captain and best player by a way but why not use the squad.We have four other centre midfielders in momo masch xabi and lucas why not pick two from here??? What if gerrard were to do more damage and be out for a few months??I suggest gerrard be left out but on the bench to be sprung on if he is really needed.I'd start the following team
Reina
Finnan------ Agger-----Carra----Arbeloa
Babel-------Masch-----Xabi------Riise
Torres--------Kuyt
Oh yeah and wats all this about gerrard being included in the england squad for the germany friendly,if its the case why not pick rooney |
