KEANE: REDS WERE TOO GOOD
The Sunderland boss said the match had only strengthened his belief that Rafa Benitez's side were firm title contenders.
"They've got a great chance to win the league this year, and we saw that with the strength in depth they showed today," said Keane.
"I can't have too many complaints. We showed some good bits of quality but it just wasn't our day – it's always going to be tough against a team like Liverpool.
"Sometimes you've got to take your medicine and accept defeat – our players will learn from this." |
