rafa and the americans

clearly the spat between the owners and rafa is far from good news, the tone
of the exchanges though is alarming, particularly from the americans who
appear to laugh in the face of benitez with "he didn't like it" (the comment
on concentrating on coaching).
i thought THAT was a disgrace, i hope the fans let the americans know, i
suspect they will.

it's not the way to conduct business and frankly without being  privy to
exactly what has been said it seems to me that benitez is only doing his job
in targetting players for the transfer window and lining up the completion
of the Mascherano signing.

despite what they may say, you can bet the owners are money hungry
capitalists who want a fat profit from LFC so it comes as no surprise that
the two (according to media stories) have fallen out and are struggling to
find cash for the stadium.

so given the position we find ourselves in the league it seems only right -
short of us completely collapsing out of the title race and the CL by new
year that rafa is [1] asking for funds [2] targetting players and [3]
explaining how the system works to the owners - "er..... tom, george - we
have this winter transfer window also, see . . . get your hand in your
pocket you overfed "

ok, i've kept it polite(ish) up until now, lets see how this spat peters
out.
to be balanced about it you have to say that they have kept up their end of
the bargain but a rather large cloud has just appeared in what was
previously a reasonably sunny blue sky.

Here is another gossip from the uk newspaper

Rafael Benitez - now a "dead man walking" as Liverpool manager - would pocket £6m in compensation if he is asked to leave at any time during his contract. (Various)

Hope they will be fine very soon
