Thecontroversial styling of most BMWs since the first Bangle-butted7-Series broke cover in the dawn of the new millennium has resulted inmany independent design studies for numerous Bavarian models from amateur and professional artistsalike. The S.X. seen here is a proposal for the next-generation BMW6-Series that was created by Iulian Bumbu, a graduate of theTransportation Design Course at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD)in Milan, Italy.
Whileretaining the characteristic flame-surfacing styling language of allmodern BMW's, Bumbu's take on the new 6-Series Coupe does away with theBangle-Butt while the low roofline combined with the long wheelbase andshort overhangs offer the coupe a more dynamic stance.
We'renot too fond of the Aston-Martin-esque front-end design but overall,it's better looking than the current 6er whichever way you take it.
