All the relevant facts and figures ahead of the 206th Merseyside derby with LFC statistician Ged Rea.

EVERTON v LIVERPOOL
  
Overall league record: Liverpool 65 wins, Everton 56 wins, Draws 55.
  
At Everton: Liverpool 28 wins, Everton 33 wins, Draws 27.
  
The last meeting between the clubs saw them play out a goalless draw at Anfield back in February.
  
In the first of last season's meetings, following a break for Internationals, Everton defeated Liverpool 3-0 at Goodison. Tim Cahill opened the scoring with Andy Johnson scoring twice.
  
Liverpool have won 79 of the 205 meetings in all competitions with Everton winning 64 and 61 ending in stalemate.
  
In League meetings today will see the 177th clash. The Reds lead those wins by 65-56.

Ian Rush in that above game became the first and so far only Liverpool player to score a league hat-trick at Goodison.
  
John Arne Riise scored his first league goal for Liverpool at Goodison in September 2001.
  
Steven Gerrard is the only player in Derby history to be sent off twice.
  
Six of the seven goals scored by Fernando Torres have come in the second half of games.
  
Javier Mascherano's last appearance for West Ham was against Everton at Goodison last season.
  
This is the 22nd time Liverpool have been asked to kick off at this time on a Saturday for the benefit of television in the last 25 months.

The Reds have kept only one clean sheet in the last seven league visits to Goodison.
  
They have scored 14 goals on the last seven league visits to Everton.
  
Only one Liverpool player has scored an own goal in a league fixture against the Blues - Neil Ruddock in 1997.
  
Both sides biggest league win on this ground has been by a 5-0 scoreline. Everton recorded theirs in April 1909 and Liverpool in November 1982.
  
19 players have been dismissed in Merseyside Derby history - seven from Liverpool and 12 Evertonians. Seven have received their marching orders in the last nine clashes. Of the current players Steven Gerrard (twice), Thomas Gravesen, Phil Neville, Mikel Arteta and Andy van der Meyde have been sent off.
  
Only three current Everton players have scored in a Merseyside Derby - Tim Cahill and Andy Johnson have two and Lee Carsley one.
