根据渥太华调查组织”生活水准研究中心“（Centre for the Study of Living Standards)本月公布的研究报告显示，加拿大华人最多的两个大城市都在全国快乐生活指数上落后其他城市、主要民众埋怨的原因？生活费用太贵（包括地产费用），而薪资无法弥补昂贵的生活开支。
调查基于民调：一个地区民众认为自己生活快乐的比率越高，该地区的生活快乐指数也越高。
以下是加拿大国内民众快乐指数最低的15个城市。
15、温哥华 Vancouver人民快乐指数：92.0
14、维多利亚 Victoria人民快乐指数：91.9
13、安省 St. Catherine's – Niagara人民快乐指数：91.7
12、安省 Oshawa人民快乐指数：91.4
11、安省 Thunder Bay人民快乐指数：91.4
10、安省温沙 Windsor info.51.ca 无忧资讯人民快乐指数：91.1
9、多伦多 Toronto info.51.ca人民快乐指数：90.9
8、安省 Barrie人民快乐指数：90.9 无忧资讯 info.51.CA

Everything is relative. I lived in Vancouver for 15 years and I thought it was a boring city comparing to Hong Kong. And then I moved to Calgary.... now I thought Vancouver was not too bad afterall. Everything is relative.

I am in Ottawa for the last 40 years and I like it. it is safe people are very friendly not much traffic You got everything almost. For the Chinese community is not as big and organized like Toronto and Vancouver. For the weather it has summer Hot ,Spring mild and rain Autum dry and cool great scenary and winter typical Canadian weather .

Canada is good place but the weather is so cold. Everyone have to stay at home at winter from Oct to April every year.

I think most of the popular cities (e.g., Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria) in Canada are good. The only places I don't want to live in Canada are those cities in the east coast. Charlottetown in PEI (or the whole PEI) is boring. I don't know what you can do there. Winter there is terrible.

Not true. I went out (Dec. 6, 2013) and it was -26 C and -39 C with the wind chill. Anyway, it is Alberta weather. Albertan can survive -40 C with no problem.

Not true, we go out regardless of the weather or temperature. -10 degree,-20 degree is not that cold, you must have not lived in Canada to say that.

Living in Markham (30km North of Toronto), the High Tech Capital in Canada for almost 20 years. The beat is slower but the quality of life is hundred times better than HK.

i use to live in vancouver... the weather is suck... so difficult to found a job.. too much people from lower main land china... no respect to other at all especially the way they drive.. .I am glad to move out there.

used to live in Vancouver and still like to go back once a while for food and weather (summer time). now living in Edmonton get more pay and less taxes, so far so good.

Well I think if you have shix load of $$ you will be happy anyway no matter where you live.

Before you tell me $$ cant buy this or that, one thing that you will have when you are rich is you will be free from working your shix out just for food and living .

You will have freedom of time to do whatever you feel like making yourself happy.  You have more choices than others to make yourself happy.

If you gonna working  18 hrs a day 7days/week , your happiness is probably when you sleeping or eating.

well, nowhere on earth dont need $$ unless you enjoy being barbarian.  (lol i think i saw one on news a while back but thats still rare)

Vancouver happy index 92% ? but it is indeed very boring... unless one really enjoy all those out door activity...

there is no night life, .. no window shopping.. no street food ... :(

移民多了，加上福利压力大，所以水涨船高。还有很多大陆华人移民，导致那边地价飙升。
