These are really fascinating photos, I think they were all taken at "Summer" in Antarctica.  The King Penguins look so proud and handsome.  They are unique to the southern ocean too.  I heard that they mate for life, and the female only lay one egg a year.  Both male and female take turn in incubating the egg.  After the chicks are hatched, they get looked after by a few adult penguins, while the parents can go to sea to get some baby food for them; a bit like a nursery caring centre.
