The Michelin PAX is a run flat tire not an airless tire in one of the above pictures.  Air is still needed in run flat tire but can be driven without air for a limited distance at slow speed.  After that, the tire is trash because the inner sidewall is broken into many tiny pieces.

I used to have Bridgtstone RE050A run flat on my old BMW.  It was a pain when having a flat tire because the tire took seven days to be delivered.  The car was not drivable because the tire was not repairable and was unsafe to drive.  I would rather have normal tires that can be patched in case of repair.
