Ches want Villa stay

Cesc Fabregas would like fellow Spaniard David Villa to join him at Arsenal, but Valencia’s new coach Unai Emery is intent on keeping the goal-machine at El Mestalla.
Gunners star Fabregas is a massive fan of the Spain international and he has claimed that he would be delighted to see him join the Emirates Stadium outfit next season, following his hat-trick against Russia.
But Emery, who has just taken charge of Valencia, understands his first task will be to keep Villa at the club.
“Villa is a very important player for Valencia, for the national team and for football in general,” Emery said.
“I will fight until the end to keep him at the club.”
Villa’s team-mate David Albelda is keen on remaining at Valencia despite being told he can move on.
“The club still think I should leave,” Albelda told Radio Valencia.
“If there’s no agreement, I’ll stay here at Valencia and complete my contract.
“I don’t know anything about offers, and I don’t want to know about it as long as Valencia have not cancelled my contract.”
