Your view: Should Real be punished?

Real Madrid have made public their attempts to sign Xabi Alonso, allegedly unsettling the Liverpool midfielder. Should they be allowed to tap players up through the media or should UEFA act?
Madrid act with apparent impunity when chasing targets, incessantly making statements either directly by a plethora of clubofficials and hangers-on or surreptitiously via the notoriouslypro-Real newspapers Marca and AS.
It works too - Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka  and Karim Benzema all joined this summer, and in recent years the likes of Arjen Robben, Sergio Ramos and Robinho were bought this way.
And it has got worse since the return of cash-flashing, loudmouth chairman Florentino Perez (right).
Socan the toothless tiger that is UEFA do anything? Hefty fines, transferembargos or bans from continental competition? Or should they beallowed to say what they want as, after all, if a player wants to move, and they cough up the readies, everyone is happy?
