We have Christmas dinner at home too. And we love the roast turdey. Every year we get a 4.2kg turkey, prepare our own stuffing, basting etc, then wrap the turkey up fully with a large piece of very well buttered tin foil, put the turkey in a well lid webber bbq, cover it up to cook for around 1 3/4 hr, then unwrap the tin foil a bit to brown the turkey breast, brush up the turkey breast with the basting source, cook for a further 1/2 hr. I guarantee you with a moist juicy tender roasted turkey.
Here, Christmas is in summer, so we get heaps of tropical fruits too. Mangos, water melon, plums, apricots, grapes, cherries ... We also make a nice summer salad. I've given up getting a leg of ham for a couple of yearw now, always so much left over that we usually have to had ham omelet, ham salad, ham sandwaches for the whole January and February.
